Jaimie Alexander portray Lady Sif in Thor Movie

Jaimie Alexander was born Jaimie Tarbush ; March 12, 1984 in Greenville, South Carolina but moved to Grapevine, Texas when she was four years old. Alexander first got into acting in grade school where she took theater for fun. Alexander stated that she was actually kicked out of theater when she was in high school because she could not sing and went into sports.

In September 2009, it was reported that Alexander would portray Sif in the live-action superhero film, Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh

Less than some week ago, behind the scenes video from Entertainment Tonight released Thor movie. In the video footage, showing little apparition ET Chris Hemsworth with a bandage costume Thor and Anthony Hopkins as the god Odin. Now, a photo taken from behind the scenes video capture Thor released. In the low-resolution images that show Jaimie Alexander as Sif is holding a weapon in his right hand hanging position using a sling.  
Sif is An Asgardian warrior and lover of Thor, she spends much of her time worrying about and searching for him. She is based on the mythological being of the same name. She often accompanies Thor and Balder into battle, who has developed an attraction to her; however, faithful Sif never shows affection for anyone but Thor and certain individuals that resemble him greatly.

Tells of a thunder god Thor, Thor's powerful but arrogant. Thor careless action reignited the ancient war that should have been extinguished. As a punishment, Thor banished to earth and forced to live among humans. On Earth, Thor a lot to learn about how to become a true hero and the same time the evil forces of Asgard was heading for Earth.

actor Chris Hemsworth will play Thor. Veteran actor Anthony Hopkins will portray the father of Thor, the god Odin. Beautiful actress Natalie Portman plays as Thor's lover, Jane Foster and Tom Hiddleston role as Loki. Thor will be directed by Kenneth Branagh (Frankenstein) and released May 20, 2011
